There’s no question that an off-season and pre-season strength and conditioning program can propel an athlete’s game to the next level. But, what does that athlete do when the season starts?
In-season training is a vital component of any strength and conditioning program. Throughout the season, athletes who train at Max Performance will work to maintain their off-season strength and speed gains, while also training to keep the chance of injury low.
Athletes who choose to continue training in-season with Max Performance will do so only one or two days per week. This is usually scheduled around the athlete or team’s game schedule. Training sessions are 50-60 minutes long and will include soft tissue work (foam rolling), some movement prep, low volume strength training, and flexibility.
