I want to train with Max Performance. How do I get started?
The first thing you will need to do is schedule a complimentary sport screen by calling us at 719-444-0381. You will meet with one of our licensed physical therapists, and they will check your muscle strengths and weaknesses, flexibility, joint integrity, and review any previous injuries you may have had. If you do not receive a sport screen, you will not be able to train with Max Performance. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent joins you for your sport screen appointment.
I received my sport screen, when can I start training?
Most athletes begin training with the start of a new month as payment covers the athlete’s training cost for a month at a time. If we are already in the middle of a month, you can still get started. Just give us a call at 719-444-0381 and we’ll get you scheduled.
When do I pay?
Payments for training are due by the athlete’s first day of training for the month. You can pay by cash, check, or credit card. Late payments will receive a penalty of $25. Athletes who have trained for a week with no payment will not be allowed to continue training until their payment is made. Signing up for Auto-Pay is the easiest and best way to make sure you pay on time and never have to pay a late fee.
What happens if I cannot make a scheduled session?
If you are unable to attend a scheduled training session, please notify us as soon as possible either by email or phone.
Can I make up a missed session?
Missed group sessions should be made up the same week that they are missed. The responsibility of rescheduling the session falls on the athlete. Missed sessions will not carry over to a new month. (1-on-1 athletes can discuss their individual schedule with their strength and conditioning coach.)
What if I cannot make up my missed session(s)?
Group sessions that cannot be made up during the same week will be lost. When you schedule your group training sessions with Max Performance, you are committing to our training program for a set number of days/weeks/months. Your payment holds your spot for the days and times you committed to. This means that we cannot schedule another athlete in that spot, and therefore, cannot recover the loss of that training spot. Therefore, if you cannot make-up your missed session(s) then you will lose your session. If you expect Max Performance to be committed to you, then Max Performance expects you to be committed to us.
